I’m Kaila — a writer and seasoned starter-over-er. After nearly two decades living everywhere but “home,” I’ve learned that moving abroad isn’t just about packing boxes and learning to say “still water” in five languages. It’s about identity. Grief. Adventure. Reinvention. Bureaucracy. Long-distance birthdays. Bad Wi-Fi. Big dreams.
